These series of images are also from monicarosestylist.blogspot.com. I really love some of these images because they are close ups. There is something about a cropped, close up image of a person that really appeals to me.
Photo1 has to be my favourite one out of these four, I love how it is off centre and she is positioned to the left of the image. In this photo and Photo2 I also really like her pose; how her arms are positioned around her face and her hands are placed either on top or behind her head.
Photo1 is really strong because of the shadows created within her face and the shadows are accentuating her facial features. The colours also seem really rich in this image.
Photo2 works really well in black and white because in this image there is less focus on the models face as we cant see it as clearly, but more on her body position and clothing.
Photo3 is a great image because the model is once again taking up the whole photo and is looking directly at the camera, which engages the viewer and makes us immediately look into her eyes, and then go from the top of the image and then move down the image to her hair and hands, and then down the page.
Photo4 also work very well in this image because all of the focus is on the dress which is extremely textured and works well on the contrasts of the background being plain, and the model sitting on a simple chair.
