Week Four.

Ellery.

These images have come from monicarosestylist.blogspot.com, they are a shoot for the fashion brand Ellery. Looking at images such as these really help me with ideas of how I can tell my model to move and pose in front of the camera. I also really like the overall concept and feel to this shoot with the background as one of the main features of the shoot; with the background being an old house with beautifully decorated walls and complementary vases and furniture it is a great background for the clothing that is being modelled. The colours that the model is wearing is somehow linked to the background, tying the two somehow together (be it colour-wise or texture-wise). I like how Photos 1,3,4 and 5 all have the greyish-silver walls with gold and white accents. This colour palette reflects on the colour of what the model is wearing in each shot. And makes sense within the image which makes it easy to view. Image two also does this but with different backgrounds, the colour palettes are also still similar to the clothing which means the image makes sense and is easy to view.
